This policy explains what information the Single Minded Productions website (singlemindedproductions.com and singlemindedproductions.net) collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our apps have their own policies: Music Speed Changer for Android and for iPhone and iPad, and Natural Metronome.
Who we are
Single Minded Productions, LLC (“we”, “us”) is responsible for this website and is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at contact@singlemindedproductions.com.
What we collect
This website has no accounts, forms or advertising, and we never ask you for personal information. We only receive the following.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs for each request: the IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. They are used to deliver, operate and secure the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. It records the pages you view, how you arrived, an approximate location (country, region and city, derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks on links to other sites, for example the app store badges. Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_0BYQ0GJSF2) holding a random identifier so that repeat visits can be counted. It does not tell us who you are, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use them only to reply and keep a record of our correspondence.
When analytics is switched off
Google Analytics does not load at all if your device’s time zone is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. As an extra safeguard, analytics cookies are also switched off for visitors whom Google detects in those regions. For everyone, advertising uses of analytics data are switched off, and Google signals (cross-device data from signed-in Google accounts) is not enabled.
How we use information, and our legal bases
We use server logs and analytics to run, secure and improve the website, and email to answer you. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website and in replying to people who contact us. Where the law would require your consent for analytics cookies, we do not use them, as described above.
We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who receives it
Our service providers process this information for us: Google LLC for analytics (see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy), and our web host for server logs. Both process data in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, these transfers rely on safeguards offered by those providers, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Analytics: event-level data is kept for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, after which Google deletes it; aggregated reports that do not identify anyone may be kept longer. Server logs: for the limited period our host keeps them for operations and security. Email: for as long as needed to deal with your message and keep a record of our correspondence.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Depending on where you live, including the EEA, the UK, California and other US states, Brazil and Canada, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email us; we will respond within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. Because analytics data is pseudonymous, we may need details such as your _ga cookie value to find it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Other websites
Links to other sites, such as Google Play, the App Store, our help center and our app websites, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
